Amomoxtli Hotel Pool in Tepoztlan with mountain background

This Women’s only, Sound, Yoga and Cultural Retreat is a one-of-a-kind getaway that combines experiencing the rich culture of Mexico while cultivating mindfulness practices, and traditional rituals. Our fun and adventurous daily excursions are aligned each day with the elements of earth, water, fire, air and ether deepening our connection to theses elements within us. Daniela Botur, sound healer and energy worker will guide this soulful, sunny reset in a place she called home for over a decade, Tepoztlan, Mexico.

This retreat is designed to weave through the cycles and seasons of our lives as women, and our connection to the natural rhythms of life on this journey of self discovery. We will deepen into understanding the feminine journey, identifying unique core values and strengths as well as release that which no longer serves us as to embrace the next level vision of our lives.

Relax, Reset & Restore

honoring our ‘Heroine’s Journey’ we reconnect to the authentic essence of love and power that we are

  • Remembrance of our innate connection to the seasons, moon, elements and nature as guidance that energizes and empowers us.

  • Exploring our own heroines journey, deepen our understanding of the feminine essence and sharing stories that connect us to our innate wisdom.

  • Reflection on the ancestral cultural and societal norms we have adopted, and allowing space to reexamine our stories in a more evolved and empowering context. Releasing that which is no longer relevant or of value.

  • Creating vision and practices for living our highest potential and authentic essential self.

Tepoztlan

Just 1.5 hours drive south of Mexico City, we retreat for six days to Tepoztlan, Morelos, recognized as one of the few "Pueblos Magicos" in the country. A pyramid lies amongst the breathtaking mountains of this village, renowned for its cobblestone streets, colorful markets, and healing traditions, making it truly a magical village. This is the town where Daniela lived and raised her children for 15 years, and it's the place she calls the home of her heart.

Mexico City

On the last day, Saturday, we will have a driver take us to Mexico City. The afternoon will be spent in Coyoacan, one of the oldest parts of the city. We will visit the famous Frida Kahlo Museum and have lunch at one of the outdoor patio restaurants while being serenaded by mariachi music. The evening will be spent at the historic Hotel de Ciudad de Mexico (famous for its Tiffany glass rooftop), located directly at the historic Zocalo of Mexico City. within 2 minute walk from hotel we have the ancient Aztec ruins of the Templo Mayor, the majestic Cathedral and can promenade, as we take in the spectacular architecture of the worlds largest plaza.

Teotihuacan

For anyone wishing to extend their stay a visit can be arranged with a private driver to the Pyramid of the Sun and Moon at the ancient city of Teotihuacan. The Pyramid of the Sun is the third largest in the world and was a ceremonial center built in 100 A.D. Being in the presence of these structures and sacred place is powerful and unforgettable. This excursion is located 1.5 hours north of Mexico City and we can assist you in planning this excursion.

Workshops

The workshops and excursions are designed and aligned each day to correspond to the themes we are exploring. Morning sessions run 2 hours and will focus on learning tools and practices that raise our energy, help set boundaries, deepen our connection and understanding of ourselves, spirit, and the world around us. We are cultivating the capacity to take responsibility for our sovereignty and aligning with our highest self.

Through group and individual exercises, we will expand our capacity to connect, trust, and receive, while the other wonderful women in our group support our processes. Ultimately, we will integrate our enhanced mindset into the wonder of new experiences, seeing ourselves, new people, things, and our environment with fresh eyes.

The longer journey involves taking the tools and experience of transformation and integrating them into our lives, regardless of where we are and life's circumstances. This retreat serves as a reminder and re-initiation of what we inherently know and are. We are exploring the ongoing process of loving, learning, evolving, and remembering our essence and connection to all.

OUR AFTERNOONS

Our afternoons are excursions that vary daily including hiking to a pyramid, floating in the pristine waters of Las Estacas, farm to table lunch, shopping and wandering the colorful streets and markets of this enchanting town. If relaxing poolside, getting a massage, or experiencing other healing therapies is more your speed, the hotel offers an amazing array of treatments and there is time to experience this as well. You are free to choose what is perfect for you.

OUR EVENINGS

In the evenings, we will gather for a sweat lodge (temazcal), a sacred circle ceremony, and a fire dance performance. Fine dining of traditional Mexican dishes will be explored throughout the week at the hotel and various restaurants, always on outdoor patios given the balmy nights of Tepoztlán. (This trip is truly an extraordinary culinary experience as well.) Expect it to be warm at this time of the year, around 80 degrees during the day, and note that most of our activities will be outdoors.

Daniela is a master at building community, positive enlightenment and boundless love at her retreat. She provides a cultural backdrop for learning, growing, sharing and ultimately for transformation. Transformation isn’t a casual word and the Flourish Fully retreat isn’t a casual vacation. This experience awakened my senses and connected me to my soul.
— Ginny Hutchinson
